THE STRANGE THING ABOUT PEOPLE AND KNOWLEDGE

Sometimes ago in some societies, Bathing was considered Unhealthy ! 

Last week, a friend of USA, said her friend was surprised to find out that Africans can speak English ! 

It has been common to hear some people saying they want to have children so that when they are old, they get someone to help them, though they don't have plans to develop such children to be able to help them .

A friend of mine in South Africa, told me he thought foreigners do not Dream ! 

I received an email from a relative asking for me to buy for him a Tractor, because he thinks when someone is abroad, he earns a lot of money. Because this is how he heard people talking!

A friend of mine in USA, said to me in his country, some people consider all foreigners as poor people, they don't expect a foreigner to be a rich guy.

Above are just few example of strange knowledge people have. 
 
In many cases we get ourselves to believe what we have been told, what we have just believed for a long time without critically thinking the truth about it. We hold what we have been taught by our academic systems, we hold what others say,we hold what our social systems say and we let these to be reality of life, though some of them may be contrary to what the reality is. 

There are still a number of things unknown by men and women, scientists and researchers in all fields are trying to uncover many of the things that we don't know yet. 

However, our task is to use our critical thinking to analyze the day to day situations, the day to day facts, so that we understand realities, and follow what is right.
