Competitors are not fair players
When you do business don't think, you are going to get an easy going. You have competitors, and there is no fair play in business like it is in sports.

Your competitors will do everything they can to out perform you. They are rude ! This applies to all types of business, all types of industries. Consider the Californian firm Atari which was the early leader of Video Game consoles business in the early 1980s. Atari's competitors could  copy its machines and software.

What about Nintendo - you remember the famous game MARIO ? Yes, but later Sega used best ideas from Nintendo and produced its brand Sonic the Hedgehog. Sega controlled the market then, until 1990s when Sony came in. New game consoles from Nintendo are called Nintendo Wii U.

Sony's dominance came with the introduction of PlayStation. However, in 2001, Microsoft outperformed the first generation of PlayStation by introducing Xbox 360.

When Microsoft launched new generation of Xbox 360 that included graphic capability and new software game,  almost the same day Sony responded Microsoft with PlayStation 3, the more powerful chip taking gaming to the next level.

In 2010, both Microsoft and Sony released motion control add ons to their gaming consoles.
