LIFE IN THE NEAR AND FAR FUTURE

In this life we are living, many things are uncertain.  However, we can learn from the past, to determine what the future will look like, though we may not get to know the future with certainty,  it worth to have a focus so that we don’t get surprised of the things that will cost us a lot.

Therefore, today I remind you of the things in our near and far future:

Death:

We know for sure that we will die; we know our relatives or our loved ones will die. We know for a fact that those we depend on will die one day.

But how do we use this fact? How prepared are you to leave the ones we love in a better position financially and mentally? How prepared are you to live financially and mentally healthy after the one you depend on dies?

Some of you might have some saving, investment or physical assets for your loved ones or dependants in case you die, but it also worth preparing them to handle well such saving , investments or physical assets like houses.

Mentally, you can help them realize how valuable they are, how productive they can be and make them see they can run their lives even when you are not around.

Sickness:

You or your Dependant may get sick anytime soon or in the near future. The type of sickness can be small or big. Sometimes surgery may be needed. It doesn’t matter the cause of the sickness, be it an accident, age or a disease, you know sickness is bound to happen. Are you prepared financially?

Of course, you can take precautions by observing the guidelines on health living, consult your doctor for this. But even if you take precautions and protection, there are accidents that you may not be able to avoid!

Technology

Technology has an impact in changing your near and far future. For instance, technology may force you to acquire new skills in computer applications to be able to cope with the market. Technology may affect the way you handle your relationship. Technology can affect how your children will grow, and affect your business performance.

There are reports that social networks like Facebook and twitter have been used to raise awareness to many people about political and economic conditions of their countries. To be specific Mashable and Fast Company report that Facebook and twitter contributed to success of Tunisia and Egypt uprising.

Business

When you analyze your business and macro environment, you will realize many things are going to affect the future of your business. Customers are getting more knowledgeable, technology simplifies things and make entry to your business industry simpler than before. For example, the business of blogging and website design is getting high competition as the entry to these businesses is becoming easier day by day. The use of social networks is changing the way businesses are conducted. For instance, nowadays it is not just enough to have a website for your business, but your business website should be able to look good on phones as well.

Job Market

It has become common for many job adverts to require someone with skills in office applications. The changes in job market are worth to focus on as they may change the way you live. If you are at school/college now, you have to put attention on what employers want. The political, society, technology and economic changes taking place can affect your ability to compete in the job market. It may worth to consider your mobility as job seeker. Are you able to work in different towns of your country? ; are you going to be able to work in other countries?
