On the evening of Saturday 19, 2012 Mark Zuckerberg ‘s status showed Married. In response to this status, a joke came from James Martin of Pundamentalism :
Mark Zuckerberg has changed his status to 'Married'. Priscilla Chan has changed hers to 'Jackpot'. She also 'likes' "top divorce lawyers".

This joke is in fact, a response to the marriage which followed few days of Initial Public Offering by Facebook that aimed to raise $16 billion.
However, the couples have dismissed the allegations that their marriage was waiting for this Initial Public Offering. According to AssociatedPress, the official guest speaker in the weeding that was attended by less than 100 people cleared the doubt by saying:
“The wedding had been planned for months and the couple was waiting for Chan to finish medical school, but the date of the IPO was a ‘moving target’ not known when the wedding was set.”

Priscilla Chan (27) is a medical doctor graduated from University of California School of Medicine, one of the top programs in America. She met Zuckerberg in 2004, went together for undergraduate degree at Harvard University, however Zuckerberg dropped out of the university in 2004 to concentrate on building Facebook.

The lesson we learn from Priscilla Chan, as we pursue of personal freedom is that:

You have a dream and passion, follow it:
Chan was once a science teacher at Harker School in San Jones before she joined the University of California for medical studies.
Zuckerberg explaining Priscilla’s passion on pediatrics he mentioned this to ABC News' Robin Roberts: "She's going to be a pediatrician so our dinner conversations are often about facebook and kids and the kids that she's meeting. She'll see them getting sicker and then all of a sudden an organ becomes available and she comes home and her face is all lit up because someone's life is going to better because of this,"

Partners should support each other’s goals and passion:
From above point, it is clear that Zuckerberg knows his partner’s passion. He must have done a lot to support that passion. The notable one is the organ donation registry tool to Facebook.
According to Forbes, On the day of Chan’s graduation, Zuckerberg wrote this on facebook: “I’m so proud of you, Dr. Chan :).”
Though Priscilla didn’t get a job at Facebook, Forbes note that she had an influence on Zuckerberg’s work on facebook.

Your partner’s wealth should not fool you:
When Zuckerberg left Harvard in 2004 and started employing people for his company, Chan would have gotten job at Facebook, but she didn’t get job instead after graduating Harvard, she went to teach science at Harker School in San Jose for two years.
Even now that her husband is a billionaire, it is confirmed that Priscilla will continue with her work as pediatric doctor.

However, Priscilla is not the only billionaire's wife not to be fooled by the wealth of her husband. Other billionaires’ wives in the list include wife of the late Steve Jobs – Laurene Powell Jobs who has an economics degree from Wharton University and Masters of Business Administration from Stanford University. She worked for Goldman Sachs and Merrilly Lynch. She is cofounder of Terraverra Company and education non profit college Track.

In the list, there is the wife of Google billionaire- Sergey Brin, Anne Wojcicki who has a degree in biology and she co-founded Biotech Company called 23andMe.

Bill Gates’ wife – Melinda Gates is also in the list. She holds bachelor degree and MBA from Duke University. Forbes says Melinda worked at Microsoft where she helped develop well-known products such as the Encarta encyclopedia and the Expedia booking tool.
