We define financial freedom as the absence of financial restrictions. These restrictions make you unable to acquire what you want, live wherever you want, get the basic needs at their best possible state.
One can argue that for him to have standard needs such as house, car, food, education and medical services is enough to say he is free financially but this person has some of these for loan which has already put restrictions on his land or other immovable asset.
Some experts argue that true financial freedom is achieved when you are able to own your income, meaning that when you are able to be your own boss. Some say even when you employ yourself to be truly independent you should be able to do what you like, do it wherever you like, whenever you like and to whomever you like.
We know everything has a start, like a good job to accumulate enough income to get better skills, and start your own enterprise. You may also need employment to earn a living to survive while you pursue personal freedom. You may start a business which does not really provide financial freedom to you, but you know this is the way to reach your dream- you are still in the search for that dream of yours.
